Riversdale Grasmere
Riversdale is a lodge in Grasmere. It's by a stream, so you hear running water from the garden.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms and each one has its own bathroom. This got a 5 Star rating because it was refurbished a few years ago and the standard is high. Everything's been done.
The living room has a wood burner. There's a separate dining area. The kitchen is modern, and there's a utility room with a washing machine. Parking is on site.
The garden is enclosed, which is useful if you're bringing dogs. You can bring up to two. There's outdoor furniture too.
Grasmere village is a short walk, about five minutes. You've got pubs, a couple of restaurants, and the Grasmere Gingerbread shop there. The local shop is about 500 yards away.
You’re right in the Lake District here. Walks start from the door. The surrounding fells are the view. For a longer day out, Ambleside is ten minutes by car, Windermere is about fifteen, and Keswick is maybe half an hour.
A few things to note. The property is part of a small group of three, so it can be booked together with the others for bigger groups. It's set up for Christmas if you're booking then.
