This is Seathwaite Tarn, a log cabin up near Little Loughrigg. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the walls. You're by yourself up there.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one double and one with two singles. One bathroom with a shower cubicle. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's in good order. It's all open-plan downstairs, lounge and kitchen together.
The location is quiet and rural. You're about three miles from Ambleside. There's parking right outside the cabin.
For walking, you're right on the edge of things. Loughrigg Fell is on your doorstep. Ambleside has plenty of places to eat and a few shops. Stock Ghyll Force waterfall is a good walk from there. Windermere is about a fifteen minute drive if you want to get out on the water or visit the aquarium.
If you want to go further, Grasmere is ten minutes up the road. The Lake District National Park site is useful for planning walks. The National Trust also looks after a lot of the local land and houses.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, all bedding and towels are included. There's on-site parking. You can bring up to two dogs. The kitchen has the usual things: electric hob, oven, fridge.
