Hillside At Bowness
Hillside at Bowness is a flat in Bowness on Windermere. It's a holiday apartment, so it's in a block. You've got your own front door and a parking space.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been recently done up, so everything feels fresh and clean. It's modern inside.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen with a breakfast bar, dining table, and living area. You can see a bit of the lake from the window in the front room, between the buildings.
You're right in the middle of Bowness. It's a two minute walk to the shops and the lake shore. The promenade is good for a flat stroll. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.
For a walk, you can start from the door. Or you can drive into the fells. Ambleside is about ten minutes by car. Grasmere is maybe twenty minutes. The Lake District National Park website has walking routes.
From Bowness pier you can get the boats on the lake. They go to Ambleside and to Lakeside, where you can get the steam train.
Facilities are what you'd expect. Wifi, TV, parking. All bedding and towels are included. No pets.
