Lake View
This is Lake View. It's in Windermere, up in Cumbria.
It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. Two doubles and a room with a three-quarter double bed. There are two bathrooms. One upstairs with a bath and shower, and a separate shower room downstairs. It's a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, not high-end.
The main thing is the view. You look straight out over Lake Windermere towards the Langdale Pikes. The garden is large and goes down towards the fells. You can walk straight out from the back onto public footpaths. There are steps from the house to the garden, and more steps from the garden down to the path. The garden is quite natural, with some slopes and a small pond. It's not fenced off from the neighbours' gardens, so you'd need to keep an eye on children or dogs. The owners sometimes need access to it as well.
Windermere village centre is a walkable distance. Bowness-on-Windermere is a bit further but you can walk down to the lake there too. Both have the usual shops, pubs, and places to eat. You can get boats out on the lake from Bowness. For things like paddleboarding or kayaking, the lake is right there.
Facilities include parking, an electric vehicle charger, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
