Slate House

Slate House is in Bowness on Windermere. It's a modern house on the hill between Bowness and Windermere villages. You can walk down into Bowness centre in about ten minutes.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Two bathrooms. The property has a 4 Star rating. It's been done up to a good standard. The open plan living area is downstairs, with the bedrooms upstairs. The stairs are fine. There's a balcony off the kitchen you can sit out on.

The master bedroom is quite big and has its own ensuite. The second bedroom has a kingsize bed, the third has bunk beds. Everything like bedding and towels is included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Wifi is included.

You can bring dogs. Up to three are allowed.

Being in Bowness, you're right by the lake. You can walk down to the pier for boat trips. Orrest Head is a popular short walk from Windermere station for views. For longer walks, you're on the doorstep of the fells. Grasmere village is about a twenty minute drive. Ambleside is about ten minutes.
