Craig Walk Cottage

Crag Walk Cottage is in Bowness on Windermere. You can walk into the town centre in about five minutes. It’s part of a terrace.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a 3 Star cottage, so it’s clean and comfortable. The stairs up to the bedrooms are fairly steep, as you’d expect.

The living room has an open fire and there’s a separate dining room. Both are small but it works. There’s a washing machine, WiFi, and towels are provided. You can bring two dogs.

There are a couple of pubs close by. For the lake, it's about a ten minute walk down the hill to the shore. Bowness itself is busy, especially in summer, but it’s handy for the boats and shops.

If you want to get out walking, you can pick up plenty of trails straight from the door. For a big day out, Ambleside is about a ten minute drive and Grasmere isn't much further.
