Quaysiders Club H
Quaysiders Club H is at Waterhead in Ambleside. It's an apartment, one of a block of eighteen around a courtyard. Your flat will be allocated when you arrive, so you could be on the ground floor or the first floor.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. There's a double bed and twin beds. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The living area has a sofa bed as well, but it's really best for four. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You're right opposite Ambleside Pier. You can see the lake from some of the apartments. Ground floor ones have a small patio, first floor ones have a small balcony. Both have a table and chairs.
The site has a shared swimming pool, a sauna, and a whirlpool. There's parking on site.
Ambleside town centre is about a ten minute walk. There are shops, pubs, and cafes. Hayes Garden World is a couple of minutes away if you need plants or garden things. For walking, you can get to Stockghyll Falls and Wansfell straight from the door. Great Langdale is a short drive.
Being opposite the pier is handy. You can get the Windermere lake cruises from there to Bowness or Lakeside. At Lakeside you can get the steam train to Haverthwaite.
Inside, it's got a TV, WiFi, a dishwasher, and a fridge with a small freezer box. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets.
