Quaysiders Club F
This is Club F at Quaysiders in Ambleside. It's one of the apartments in the small block right opposite the pier at Waterhead. You can see the lake from some of them. You get allocated your specific apartment when you arrive, so it might be on the ground floor or the first floor.
It's for four people. Two bedrooms: one double and one twin. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got the 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept. The living space is open plan with a kitchen area. It has a dishwasher. There's a sofa bed in the living room as well, if you need it for flexibility.
Being on-site is the main thing. There's a shared swimming pool, a sauna, and a whirlpool in the building. The apartments are set around a courtyard. If you get a ground floor one you have a little patio, first floor gets a small balcony. Both have furniture so you can sit outside.
The location is the big point. You're at Waterhead, which is the bit of Ambleside on the lake. You walk out the door and the pier and the steamers are right across the road. You can get the boat to Bowness or down to Lakeside. Ambleside town centre is about a ten minute walk up the road, but there are a few places to eat and drink right at Waterhead too.
For walking, you can start from the door. Stockghyll Force is a good waterfall walk. Wansfell is right there if you want a proper climb. If you drive, Great Langdale is about fifteen minutes away. That's where a lot of the famous walks start, like the Langdale Pikes.
Parking is on site. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. WiFi is there. Sorry, no pets.
