Quaysiders Club D
This is Quaysiders Club D. It's an apartment in Ambleside, right across the road from the pier at Waterhead.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. You get either a ground floor or first floor apartment when you arrive. They're all laid out a bit differently but they have the same things in them.
Inside, it's an open plan living area with a kitchen that has a fridge, oven, and dishwasher. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. There's a small patio or balcony with chairs.
On site, there's a shared swimming pool, sauna, and a whirlpool. You can park there.
The location is the main thing. You can walk into Ambleside town centre in about ten minutes. There are plenty of pubs, cafes, and shops. Right opposite, you can get the Windermere lake cruises from the pier.
For walking, you can start from the door. Stockghyll Force is a good short walk. Wansfell is a bit more of a climb. Great Langdale is about a fifteen minute drive away, which is a classic starting point for the fells.
Facilities included are bedding, towels, WiFi, and TV. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
