Quaysiders Club C
This is Quaysiders Club C. It's an apartment in a block right opposite the Ambleside pier, on the edge of Windermere. You can see the water from the front.
It's for four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. There's a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The block has a shared swimming pool and sauna you can use.
You get either a ground floor patio or a first floor balcony, depending on which apartment you're given when you arrive. They're both small, but there's room for a couple of chairs. Inside, it's open plan. The sofa is a sofa bed if you need it.
You're about a ten minute walk from the centre of Ambleside. There are shops, pubs, and restaurants there. You've also got a few places right at Waterhead, just over the road. Hayes Garden World is nearby if you need anything for the flat or just fancy a look around.
For getting out, you're in a good spot. You can walk to Stockghyll Force from the door, or head up Wansfell. The launch for the Windermere steamers is literally across the road. They go to Bowness and Lakeside.
By car, Grasmere and Great Langdale are about ten or fifteen minutes away. You can get to Coniston, Hawkshead, or over Kirkstone Pass to Ullswater in under half an hour.
In terms of what's there, it's got WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
