Cayton Cove Cottage
Cayton Cove Cottage is on Westgate in Cayton. It's a modern end-terrace cottage, not an old one. You get the whole place to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's in good condition. The main bedroom is a decent size with a king bed. The other room has bunk beds. The top bunk is only suitable for kids over six.
The living area is open plan with sliding doors out to the garden. There's a kitchen with a breakfast bar. The garden is enclosed and gets the sun. There's a deck with a gazebo and a gravelled area with furniture.
You can walk to Cayton Bay in about half an hour. It's a good beach for dogs. The village has two pubs within easy walking distance. Both do food.
Scarborough is about four miles north. Filey is about five miles south. Bridlington is about 12 miles further south. Whitby is around 40 minutes drive north if you fancy a trip.
For walking, the Cleveland Way National Trail is nearby. The North York Moors National Park is inland. The Welcome to Yorkshire site has ideas.
