Garfield is a big Victorian townhouse in Scarborough, off the Castle Road. It sleeps ten people across five bedrooms.
We’ve just finished renovating it. It’s got two bathrooms, one upstairs with a shower. Downstairs there’s a separate loo. The stairs in these houses are a bit narrower than modern ones.
The kitchen is big enough for a group and there’s a separate dining room with a table for ten. The living room has a TV and a few sofas. Outside is a small, enclosed yard, not a garden. Parking is on the driveway.
You can walk into town from here. The seafront and the beach are about a fifteen minute walk. Peasholm Park is close by. If you want to swim, the Alpamare waterpark is just down the road.
For days out, you can get the train to York, which takes about 45 minutes. Flamingo Land is a half hour drive. The North York Moors are about 25 minutes away by car.
It’s got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and bedding is included. We can take up to two dogs.
