Sea Blue House is in Scarborough, North Yorkshire. It's a tall, old townhouse built in the 1850s, right near the South Bay beach.
It sleeps up to ten people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. You can bring two dogs.
The layout is over four floors. There's a bedroom and a bunk room on the ground floor, with a shower room. That's useful if someone doesn't want to tackle the stairs. The stairs are normal for a house this age. They're a bit steep and winding.
The kitchen and the main living room are on the first floor. The kitchen table is by the window so you can look out at the sea while you eat. The living room has a TV and enough sofas for everyone.
On the second floor, there are two more bedrooms. One has an en-suite shower and good sea views. The other is a twin. There's also a family bathroom up there with a slipper bath.
The top floor has another double bedroom and a terrace. The terrace looks right over the beach and the bay. It's a good spot.
It's a seaside property, so you're a couple of minutes' walk from the sand. There's a local pub nearby. Parking is in a public pay and display car park close to the house.
In Scarborough itself, you've got the castle, the Sea Life centre, and Peasholm Park. The Open Air Theatre has concerts in summer. For walking, the Cleveland Way coastal path starts nearby. For a day out, you can drive to the North York Moors National Park in under half an hour. Scarborough Castle is run by English Heritage if you're a member.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
