This is the Harwood apartment at Derwent House in Scarborough. It's part of a big old townhouse that's been done up. You're on the ground floor.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms has its own shower room. The other bedroom has doors that go straight out to your own terrace. It's fenced in, so it's private. The living area is open plan, with a kitchen, a table, and sofas facing the telly. It's got a high spec, so everything's new and works properly. It's a 5 Star place, so it's comfortable.
The best thing is where it is. You’re a very short walk from the south beach. Just step out the door and you're there. The town centre is close too, for shops and that.
Scarborough's got the two bays, north and south. The castle is up on the headland. The Scarborough Castle site is English Heritage. For a walk, you can go along the coastal path either way. Peasholm Park is nice for a stroll. The Sea Life Centre is on the north bay.
If you want to drive out, Filey is about twenty minutes south. Robin Hood's Bay is maybe twenty-five minutes north. Whitby is about forty minutes up the coast. York is an hour by car, or you can get the train from here.
In the apartment you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and all the bedding and towels are included. There's no parking on site, but there is a public car park very close by. No pets.
