Harbourside House is about a five minute walk from Scarborough South Bay beach and the harbour. It’s a terraced house. You can see the castle from the top bedroom window.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The place has been done up so it’s in good order inside. The stairs are standard for a house like this, but the top two bedrooms are under the eaves so mind your head.
It’s in the middle of town, so you’ve got restaurants, pubs, and the usual seaside stuff right on the doorstep. The living room has an open fire. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There’s a small enclosed yard out the back through the kitchen door.
You can walk to most things. Peasholm Park is about a fifteen minute walk. The Open Air Theatre and Alpamare waterpark are on the North Bay, maybe twenty five minutes on foot or a short drive. The SEA LIFE Centre is down by the harbour.
If you want to drive out, you can be in Filey in about twenty minutes, or Whitby in forty. Robin Hood’s Bay is about half an hour. The North York Moors are close by for walks.
The house has WiFi, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. A cot is available. You can bring up to two dogs.
A couple of links for planning: North York Moors National Park and Scarborough Castle.
