Stargazer
Stargazer is in Beadnell, right by the sea. It's a detached house, so no one next door. Sleeps six people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms downstairs, which is handy. One bedroom has its own ensuite shower room.
The living space is all upstairs. It's open plan with high ceilings and big windows so you get the views. There's a proper kitchen with a dishwasher and a wine fridge. The main thing is the balcony. It looks towards the Cheviot hills. It's a good spot for a coffee or to watch the stars. The property has a 5 Star rating, so it's well finished and comfortable.
You're about two minutes' walk from the beach. It's a long sandy beach, good for a walk or if you're into kite surfing. There's a cafe right on the beachfront for food. The village has a couple of pubs and a hotel restaurant a short walk away.
Seahouses is close, just under two miles. You can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands from there. Bamburgh Castle is about five miles up the road. Further north you've got Holy Island, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway. Heading south, the coast has Craster and Alnmouth.
For planning days out, the Northumberland National Park website is useful, and so is Northumberland Coast AONB.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, an enclosed garden, and bedding and towels are included. No pets.
