Smugglers Den

Smugglers Den is in Beadnell, which is a village right on the coast. It's a new-build cottage, one of twelve on a development called Smugglers Cove. It's detached, so you won't share any walls.

It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well put together and comfortable. Everything's on one level, so the entrance and the main rooms are wheelchair accessible. There's a patio garden that's fully enclosed.

The village is small. There's a shop with a post office, a cafe, and a pub that does food, all a couple of minutes' walk away. The beach is about a ten minute walk.

You're in a good spot for the coast. Bamburgh Castle is a ten minute drive up the road. Seahouses is five minutes away, where you can get boat trips out to the Farne Islands to see the puffins. The Northumberland Coast area is all around you for walking. Alnwick with its castle and garden is about twenty minutes inland. If you want to go further, Holy Island is maybe half an hour, depending on the tide times.

For facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. No pets, I'm afraid.
