Waggy Tails is in Seahouses, on the main street. It's semi-detached and it sleeps four. You get the whole house and the garden. The garden is fully enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There are two living rooms downstairs, so if someone wants to watch telly and someone else wants to read, it's no problem. The main living room has sliding doors to the garden. The kitchen is fine. We leave some tea and coffee for you.
Upstairs are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One is a proper bathroom, the other is a separate toilet with a shower. It means you're not all queuing for one room in the morning.
The main quirk is the stairs. They're a bit steep, like a lot of cottages here. There's a step down into the kitchen from the living room too, so just watch your step.
You can walk to the harbour in a few minutes. That's where the boats go out to the Farne Islands. It's brilliant for seeing the puffins and seals. The local shop and a few pubs are about 200 yards away.
Beadnell Bay is about two miles south. The beach there is good for a proper walk or if you're into kitesurfing. Bamburgh is three miles up the coast. The castle is worth seeing. You can walk to it from the beach if the tide's right.
Alnwick is inland, maybe a 20-minute drive. It's got a big garden centre and Alnwick Castle if that's your thing. For walks, the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site has maps. Most of the coast path is accessible from here.
Facilities: it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. There's a wood burner for colder nights. Parking for one car on the drive. We provide bedding and towels. It's pet-friendly, up to three dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
