Fishers Cottage

Fishers Cottage is in Seahouses. It's on a quiet little road with a few similar houses. The garden's enclosed, which is handy if you've got a dog.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom upstairs too. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything's clean and works.

You're about a five minute walk from the harbour and the main street. There are shops, pubs, and places to eat. The boat trips to the Farne Islands leave from the harbour. That's worth doing for the seabirds and seals. The Northumberland Coast site has good information on the area.

Bamburgh is two miles up the road. The castle is there and the beach is huge. Holy Island is visible from there, but check the tide times if you want to drive over. Alnwick is about a twenty minute drive inland. The castle and the gardens are the main things there. The National Trust page for Holy Island is useful for planning.

Inside, there's a living room and a kitchen with a dining table. The stairs are fine. The garage is attached and you can use it. There's a washing machine in there, and some outdoor toys and games.

Facilities: parking right outside, WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
