Kia Ora Cottage

Kia Ora Cottage is in the middle of Seahouses. It's a bungalow, so everything is on one level. You can park right outside.

It sleeps six, maybe seven if you use the bunk beds. Three bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's been done up recently so it's clean and works well. The heating is all electric. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.

You can bring dogs, two maximum. There's a pebbled courtyard out the back that's enclosed. It's got some seating.

You're about a five minute walk from the harbour and the main beach. The shops, pubs, and chip shops are all on your doorstep. For a boat trip to the Farne Islands, you just walk down to the harbour. The National Trust runs them.

Bamburgh is a couple of miles down the road. You can see the castle from the beach. It's worth a visit. The English Heritage site has the details.

Further down the coast, there's Beadnell Bay for water sports, and Craster for kippers. Holy Island is about a 25 minute drive, but you have to check the tide times.

For walking, the Northumberland Coast National Landscape site has maps. The golf club is at the edge of the village.

Everything is included: bedding, towels, the wi-fi. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has what you need.
