Seaglass House is in Beadnell. It's a detached house, so no neighbours on either side. You're about a hundred yards from the beach, which is pretty much a straight line down the road.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which helps with that many people. It's got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and clean.
You get gardens at the front and back. Both are enclosed. There's a swing set in the front one for kids. The main living room is upstairs. It’s got a balcony with a full view of the sea. The stairs inside are fine.
Beadnell itself has a village shop and a pub that does food. The beach is sandy and wide. People go there for kite surfing and sailing.
Seahouses is about a mile north. That's where you get the boat trips out to the Farne Islands. They go from the harbour regularly. The islands are good for seabirds and seals. Seahouses has more pubs and cafes.
Another couple of miles up the coast is Bamburgh. The castle is there, and the Grace Darling Museum. Alnwick is about a fifteen minute drive inland. That's got Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden with its treehouse restaurant.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. No pets, sorry. And it's got a cot if you need one.
