Fairways
Fairways is a bungalow in Beadnell. It's linked to the one next door, but you wouldn't really notice from inside. Everything's on one floor, which is handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and comfortable. The garden is private, with a patio out the back.
There's a wood burner in the living room. It works well. The kitchen looks out onto the garden.
You're about 200 yards from the beach. It's a mix of sand and rocks that leads onto a longer beach. Beadnell Bay itself, which is all sand, is a short walk away. It's very popular for windsurfing and that sort of thing.
The village is small. There's a shop and a couple of pubs that do food, all a few minutes' walk away.
Seahouses is two miles up the road. That's where you get the boats out to the Farne Islands. They go out most days in season. Bamburgh is another three miles, with the castle. You can see Holy Island from the beach on a clear day.
Alnwick is about 20 minutes inland. The castle is there, and the Alnwick Garden is worth a visit.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car. You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair if you need one.
