Lottie's Place

Lottie's Place is just outside the village of North Sunderland, basically Seahouses. It's a semi-detached dormer bungalow, so it's on one floor mostly but part of the roof space is used for bedrooms. It's got its own garden and a small patio area and there's parking right outside.

It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom downstairs. That's worth knowing. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not high-end. You get a washing machine, dishwasher, towels and bedding.

Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The stairs to the upper floor are a standard straight staircase.

You can walk into Seahouses in about ten minutes. There are the usual seaside shops and cafes, and the harbour is there for boat trips out to the Farne Islands. The pub is about a five minute walk.

The beach is a short drive, or a decent walk. Bamburgh is just up the coast, about two miles. The castle there is worth a look and the beach is huge. You can see Holy Island from there.

Alnwick, with its castle and gardens, is about a fifteen minute drive inland. For walking, you're right on the Northumberland Coast, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There's a golf course nearby and you can arrange horse riding just down the road.
