Fairway Cottage
Fairway Cottage is in Lucker, just outside Belford in Northumberland. It's a detached bungalow, so all the rooms are on one level. That can be really handy.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The place has a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern, and everything works. It's not huge, but it's comfortable.
The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs or kids. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right outside.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. There's also a shed if you need to store bikes.
You're about five miles from the coast. Bamburgh is a short drive east. The castle is massive and the beach goes on for miles. Seahouses is a bit further south, which is where the boats go out to the Farne Islands. That's good for seeing puffins and seals.
Inland, you've got the Cheviot hills. Wooler is about fifteen minutes west, good for walking shops and cafes. The Northumberland National Park isn't far. Alnwick with its castle and garden is about a twenty-minute drive south.
In Belford, there's a shop a few minutes walk away. The Blue Bell Hotel is about half a mile for food and a drink. They do offer a discount for guests, which is a nice touch.
