Fairway Cottage

Fairway Cottage is in Lucker, which is near Belford. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. That's handy for some people. The garden is enclosed.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well looked after. The place feels private.

You can bring one dog. There's parking right there.

There's a shop about 300 yards away in Belford. The Blue Bell Hotel is half a mile for food and drinks. They sometimes offer a discount to guests, but I'd check that when you book.

You're about five miles from the coast. Bamburgh beach is great, and the castle is spectacular. The boat trips to the Farne Islands for the seabirds and seals leave from Seahouses, which is a bit further on.

If you head west, you're into the Northumberland National Park pretty quickly. Wooler is about ten miles that way, good for walking gear or a café. St Cuthbert's Way runs through there if you're after a long walk.

Alnwick is about a fifteen minute drive south. That's where the famous Alnwick Garden and the castle are.

For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a bike store if you bring them.
