Aidan is a semi-detached house on the edge of Seahouses. It's about a ten minute walk into the village centre.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom, which has a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works.
The main thing outdoors is a south-facing deck. It's enclosed. There's a sun room off the living room with another TV in it.
Seahouses itself is a proper working harbour. You can get boat trips from there out to the Farne Islands to see the seabirds and seals. The main beach is St Aidan's. It's good sand.
Bamburgh Castle is about three miles up the coast. You can see it from the beach. Holy Island, Lindisfarne, is a drive up the coast. You have to check the tide times for the causeway. Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about twelve miles inland.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets.
