Orchard Sands
Orchard Sands is a ground floor apartment in Beadnell. It’s on a residential street a few minutes’ walk from the harbour.
It’s a one bedroom place, so it sleeps two. It’s got a 4 Star rating, which means it’s comfortable and well fitted. The main thing people mention is the shower. It’s large, with a seat and steam jets. You can have it just as a normal shower but the extra features are there if you want them.
The layout is open plan. The living area, kitchen, and dining space are all in one room. There’s a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.
The beach is about five hundred yards away. It’s long and sandy and usually quiet. Beadnell itself is small. There’s a shop about four hundred yards away and a pub and a restaurant a bit closer. They’re good for the basics.
From here you can get to a lot of the main places. Alnwick Castle and Gardens is about half an hour’s drive south. Bamburgh Castle is ten minutes north. Holy Island is about twenty five minutes away, but you have to check the tide times for the causeway. The whole Northumberland coast is good for walking. You can walk from Beadnell to Seahouses along the beach if the tide is out.
