Pintail Cottage
Pintail Cottage is in Embleton, near the coast. It's a stone cottage, one of four in a small terrace. It's a fairly new build.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's modern and well-equipped. Everything's clean and straightforward.
The back garden is yours to use. There's parking for one car.
Embleton Bay is less than a mile's walk away. It's a good sandy beach. The village has a shop and a couple of pubs that do food, all within a short walk. There's a children's play park too. The golf course is right there.
You can get to a lot of the big sights from here. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are about a 20 minute drive. The castles at Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh, and Warkworth are all within half an hour. Holy Island (Lindisfarne) is about 25 minutes, but you have to check the tide times for the crossing.
Inside, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and central heating. We provide bedding. A travel cot and highchair are there if you need them. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
