Rock Farm House Alnwick
Rock Farm House is up in Rock, which is near Alnwick. It's a renovated farmhouse that sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, all doubles, and each one has its own bathroom. That's the main point if you've got a big group. No queue for the shower.
It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is big and clean. The kitchen's been done out properly, so if someone wants to cook for everyone they can. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine.
You get the two acre garden to yourselves. There's a patio with a barbecue. Parking for several cars.
We allow up to two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included.
The location is good for the coast. It's about a twenty minute drive to places like Alnmouth or Warkworth. The beaches up here are huge and often empty. The Northumberland Coast National Landscape is right there.
Alnwick is ten minutes away. That's where the castle and gardens are. You can get to Northumberland National Park in under half an hour for walking. Bamburgh Castle and Hadrian's Wall are both within a 30 minute drive.
There's a local pub in the village. It's a five minute walk.
