The Old Forge is in Alnwick, on a quiet lane just off the main street. It's a stone cottage that sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable.
Downstairs is one open space. The kitchen leads into the sitting area. There's a sofa, a chair, and a TV. The back door opens onto a small, enclosed patio garden. It gets the sun in the afternoon. You can sit out there.
You're a two-minute walk from the town centre. There's a good shop about 150 yards away, and a couple of pubs and restaurants within 200 yards. Alnwick Castle is a five-minute walk. The famous Alnwick Gardens, with the treehouse restaurant, are about a mile away. You can walk it in 20 minutes.
The coast is about four miles east. Places like Alnmouth and Boulmer are good for beaches. To the west, you've got the Cheviot Hills for walking. Both are about a 15 to 20 minute drive.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's no parking right at the cottage, but there is a public car park a very short walk away.
