The Old Forge is a cottage in Alnwick on a quiet back lane. It's stone-built and sleeps three. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after, not just basic. The kitchen leads into the living room. There's a corner sofa and a smaller chair. The stairs are normal.
Outside is a small enclosed patio. It's a sunny spot to sit out.
You're right behind the main street, so you can walk to everything. Shops are a couple of minutes away. There are pubs and places to eat.
Alnwick Castle is the big one here. The Alnwick Garden is worth seeing too, it's formal but unusual. They've got a big treehouse restaurant.
The coast is about four miles off. Good beaches there. To the west you've got the Cheviot Hills for walking. It's about a half hour drive to get up into them properly.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. No pets.
