Maltster's Rest
Maltster's Rest is a ground floor apartment in Alnwick. It's converted from part of an old malthouse, which is where the name comes from. You get your own door and a parking space right outside.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One is a king with an en-suite shower room. The other is a super king that can be made into twins if you ask. There's a second bathroom as well. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and comfortable. The main room is open plan, so the kitchen, dining and living area are all together.
You're right in the town centre. You can walk to everything. There are pubs, restaurants, shops, and a cinema. Alnwick Castle is a short walk away. That's the one used for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. The Alnwick Garden is nearby too, with its big treehouse restaurant.
The coast is about ten minutes drive east. Alnmouth has a good beach. To the west you've got the Cheviot hills for walking. The whole Northumberland coastline is worth exploring, from Craster up to Bamburgh.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage if you need it. No pets.
