Potters Pad is a first-floor apartment in the old malthouse in Alnwick centre. It's part of a building that's been converted into flats, so you'll have neighbours. You can use the lift to get up there, which is handy.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One has a king-size bed, the other has two singles. The living area is all open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher. There's a patio door that opens onto a shared garden space. You'll get a parking space.
The place has a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern and comfortable. The building is old though, so you might hear normal flat noises from time to time.
You're right in the middle of town. Shops, pubs, and restaurants are a couple of minutes' walk away. Alnwick Castle is nearby. It's the big one they used for Harry Potter. The Alnwick Garden is worth a visit too, especially the treehouse restaurant.
The coast at Alnmouth is about a ten-minute drive. It's a good sandy beach. For walking, you've got the Northumberland Coast to the east and the Cheviot hills to the west. Rothbury and the Simonside Hills are about a half hour drive inland.
We allow up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed but it is a shared area, so you need to keep an eye on them. Bedding and towels are included. There's wifi.
