Hotspur View
Hotspur View is in Alnwick town centre. It's a terrace house. You're up a bit, so you get a decent view over the rooftops from the front. There are two ways in: nine steps at the front, or a ramp round the back.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms: one king, one twin. One bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well looked after and has what you need. The stairs inside are normal house stairs.
The back has a small enclosed courtyard. It gets the sun in the evening. You can sit out there if you want. The kitchen looks out onto it.
You're right among the shops and pubs. Everything's about a hundred yards away. The castle is basically on your doorstep. It's a proper working castle, and they used it for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. The Alnwick Garden is there too, with its big treehouse restaurant and the water cascade. If you want the coast, Alnmouth beach is about four miles east. It's a nice sandy bay. Heading north, you get to Seahouses in about twenty minutes. From there you can get boats out to the Farne Islands to see the birds and seals. Bamburgh Castle is a bit further up that coast. It's very dramatic.
West of here, Rothbury is a short drive and gives you access to the Simonside Hills for walking.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on site. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's bike storage if you need it.
