Shoreline Penthouse
Shoreline Penthouse is an apartment on the top floor of a building in Alnmouth. It's about a five minute walk from the beach. It's a modern place, built in 2011.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. The main thing is that each bedroom has its own bathroom, so nobody has to share. The master bedroom has a sofa in it and a decent view of the estuary. The living area is open plan with big windows facing the village.
The village itself is nice. The houses are painted in different colours. There are a couple of pubs and some shops about five minutes' walk away. The beach is sandy and good for walking. You can walk along the Coast Path from here.
Alnwick is about a ten minute drive. The castle is there, and the Alnwick Garden is worth visiting for the treehouse and fountains. Warkworth and its castle ruins are about fifteen minutes south. Bamburgh Castle is maybe twenty five minutes north up the coast.
For facilities: it has parking, a washing machine and dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included. There's a small enclosed patio area. No pets, I'm afraid.
