Rok House is in Amble town centre. It's a terraced house, built in 1935 and done up a few years ago. It's set back from the main road so it's a bit quieter. You're a couple of hundred yards from the harbour.
It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, and one is a wet room on the ground floor. The stairs are standard for a house this age. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The main living space is open plan, with the kitchen, dining area and a seating area all in one room. Large bi-fold doors open onto the back patio. There's a separate living room too, with a big TV.
Amble's a small fishing town. The harbour's nice for a wander. There are fish and chip shops, a couple of restaurants, and an ice cream place by the water. You can get boat trips from there out to Coquet Island to see the birds.
Warkworth is two miles away. You can walk there along the river, past the castle. It's a nice village with a few pubs and shops. Alnwick is about ten minutes in the car. The castle and the gardens are worth a visit.
The coast here is good. There are long beaches nearby, like Druridge Bay. For walking, you've got the Northumberland Coast Path right on the doorstep.
Facilities: parking on site, enclosed garden with a patio, WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance and has the ground floor wet room. You can bring two dogs.
