The Willows Red Row is in Red Row, which is a small village near Amble in Northumberland. It's an attached bungalow, so everything is on one floor. That makes it easier if you don't want stairs.
It sleeps eight. There are four bedrooms: two doubles and two twins. Two bathrooms, one is a shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, and we've tried to make it practical for a group.
The garden is fully enclosed at the back, which is good for dogs or kids. You get the whole garden to yourselves. There's a conservatory that looks out over it, which is a nice spot to sit.
We take up to three dogs. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and all the bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile away in the village. Amble is about three miles north. It's a proper working harbour town. You can get boat trips from there to see the seals and puffins on Coquet Island.
The coast is very close. Druridge Bay is a few minutes in the car. It's a long, sandy beach and it's rarely crowded. For a bigger day out, Alnwick is about twenty minutes' drive. The castle and gardens are there. Morpeth is about the same distance the other way.
If you're here for walking, you're in a good spot for the coast path and inland trails. The Northumberland National Park isn't far. Useful links for planning: Northumberland National Park and Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There's parking on the drive. The place is available over Christmas, we put decorations up.
