Unwind @37

This is Unwind @37, in Burgham, Northumberland. It's a detached lodge next to another one called @36. They're on a country park, so it's quiet, but you're not isolated.

The lodge sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms are doubles. One has its own ensuite shower room, and there's a second main shower room as well. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is about right. Everything is clean and works.

It's an open plan space so everyone's together. The kitchen has what you need. There's a TV and WiFi. The main thing is the big deck outside. It looks over a stream and fields. There's a sunken hot tub on the deck and some comfortable furniture. You get a lot of sun there.

The site, Bockenfield, has a small clubhouse café for drinks. There's a children's play area with a pirate ship and a zip wire. It's not a massive park, which is nice.

Location is good. You're just off the A1, about nine miles from Alnwick. Alnwick Garden and the castle are there. Morpeth is a few miles the other way for shops and pubs. The coast is a short drive. You've got beaches like those at Alnmouth and Warkworth.

Further out, you're within half an hour of a lot. Cragside is near Rothbury. Northumberland National Park and parts of Hadrian's Wall, like Housesteads Fort, are about a 30-minute drive inland.

In terms of what's here: it's all detached, with parking. There's a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. The deck is yours to use. You can bring two dogs. There's a golf course nearby.
