Unwind @37
Unwind @37 is one of two lodges next to each other on Bockenfield Country Park, near Burgham in Northumberland. They're identical. If you book this one, you get a detached lodge.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms - one's an en-suite. It's a 5 Star lodge, so everything is in good order and modern. The living area is open plan, so the kitchen and sitting room are all one space. There's a TV and WiFi.
Outside, there's a large decked area. It's got a sunken hot tub and seating. The deck overlooks a stream and fields. It's quite private.
The country park itself is small. There's a kids' play area with a pirate ship and zip wire. There's also a small clubhouse that serves as a café, and sometimes they run activities in busier times.
Location-wise, it's quiet but easy to get around. It's just off the A1, about halfway between Morpeth and Alnwick.
Alnwick is about nine miles away. You've got Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle there. The coast is a short drive. Places like Alnmouth, Warkworth, and Craster are all within 30 minutes. You can get to Northumberland National Park or parts of Hadrian's Wall in under an hour.
For facilities: it's detached, has parking, the deck with hot tub, a washing machine, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two pets.
