This place is called Chesterhill West Field. It's a converted barn on the edge of Swarland village in Northumberland. It's just one building by itself, so it's quiet.
It's got two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It sleeps four. It's been done up to a high standard. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-finished. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner. The main room is big with high beams and two large arched windows. The view from them is over open fields. We keep some hens, ducks, and goats in the next field, so you can see them from the windows.
The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for a dog or for kids. There's parking right there.
Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. WiFi is included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
You're allowed to bring one well-behaved dog.
Location wise, you're about half an hour's drive from the coast. Alnmouth and Alnwick are close. The Northumberland National Park is on your doorstep for walking. For a big day out, you can get to Bamburgh Castle, Holy Island, or the beaches at Druridge Bay in under 30 minutes.
