Stable Cottage

Stable Cottage is on the edge of Acklington village. It's one of three cottages next to each other, attached to a small caravan site. It's all on the ground floor, so no stairs.

It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, but not fancy. The main thing is it's got a wood burning stove, which is good for colder nights.

The garden is yours to use. You can park right outside.

It's pet friendly. Up to two dogs.

The location is handy. You're about four miles from the A1, so it's easy to get around. The coast at Druridge Bay is about three miles away. It's a big beach, good for walks. Warkworth is three miles south. It's got a castle and a nice little high street. Amble is a bit further, it's a harbour town with shops and places to eat.

Further afield, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about ten miles north. For a bigger day out, Holy Island is 34 miles up the coast. You have to check the tide times to drive over. Newcastle is about 27 miles south if you want a city trip.

Facilities are straightforward. There's a TV, a washing machine, and all your bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair if needed.
