Kittiwake is a townhouse in Amble. That's a small harbour town on the Northumberland coast. It sleeps eight, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard.
The main thing is the view. From the first floor living room and the rear patio, you look straight out over Amble Marina towards Warkworth. You can sit and watch the boats come and go. It's very peaceful.
You're a two-minute walk from the town centre. There are shops, bakeries, cafes and pubs. The locals are friendly. Amble is known for good seafood and there's a famous ice cream place. On Sundays, there's a market by the harbour.
The stairs are fine. There's a washing machine, parking on site, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
From the door, you can walk along the coast path to Warkworth, which has a great castle. The beach is a short walk away. For a day out, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a 20-minute drive. The whole Northumberland coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Further afield, within about half an hour, you've got Alnwick Castle, Cragside, and the start of Northumberland National Park. Hadrian's Wall is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes to an hour's drive.
