Little Willows is a bungalow in Red Row, Northumberland. It's detached, and we built it in 2013 at the back of our own place, The Willows, so you've got your own space. It looks out over the fields.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. Got a 4 Star rating. It's modern, so everything works and it's easy to keep warm. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you're bringing dogs. We take two.
It's a quiet spot. There's a local pub a few minutes' walk away. For shops and things, Amble is about a ten minute drive. It's a proper working harbour, has a good market on a Sunday, and there are places to eat. There's an ice cream shop on the harbour that wins awards.
You're well placed for the coast here. The beach at Druridge Bay is very close. Head north up the coast and you've got beaches like Bamburgh and Embleton. There are castles all over the place, Alnwick and Warkworth are the big ones nearby.
Inland, you're on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. It's about half an hour's drive to get right into it, or into the Cheviot hills. For a day out, you can get to Hadrian's Wall in under an hour.
What's here: parking right outside, wifi, TV, a washing machine, bedding and towels are included. The garden has a patio with furniture.
