Willow Cottage
Willow Cottage is in Warkworth village. It's an end-of-terrace stone cottage, nothing fancy. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got a dog or kids. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The stairs are steep, typical for a cottage this age. We've put a stairgate at the top.
You're a two minute walk from the local pub, and the village shop is about the same. The castle is right there, you can see it from the end of the lane. The beach is a ten minute walk down the hill. It's dog friendly all year.
For a bigger shop, Alnwick is about fifteen minutes drive. That's where Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden are.
You're well placed for the coast. Craster is about twenty minutes south for kippers and a walk out to Dunstanburgh Castle. Bamburgh is about half an hour north, you can't miss the castle there. The Holy Island crossing is about forty minutes, but you must check the tide times.
In the cottage there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
