Fulmar Retreat is in Amble on the Northumberland coast. It's a new house on a small development just off the A1. You've got private parking for two cars and an EV charger if you need it.
The house sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's clean, modern and comfortable. It's not a cottage, everything feels quite new and open.
You can walk to the town centre and marina in about ten minutes. It's a flat walk. The nearest beach is about a fifteen minute walk. There's a pub and a few restaurants a few minutes away on foot.
The kitchen has French doors that open onto a patio with some outdoor furniture. The garden is enclosed with gravel. It's a practical space, not a big lawn.
Amble is a working harbour. You can get fresh fish from the fishmongers. The marina has little shop pods selling local stuff. There's a microbrewery nearby that sometimes has food vans.
Warkworth Castle is a ten minute drive or a long walk along the river. Alnwick with its castle and gardens is about twenty minutes by car. For beaches, Druridge Bay is about fifteen minutes north. Bamburgh is further, maybe forty minutes.
Hauxley Nature Reserve is a short drive if you like birdwatching. There are several golf courses nearby.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi and a woodburning stove. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
