The Studio
The Studio is in Warkworth. It's a detached building in our garden, but it's private. The front door opens straight into the kitchen. The stairs go up to the main room, which is a living area and the bed. It's all one space up there. It's for two people.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and everything works, but it's not luxurious. It's a small, practical place. You can bring one dog.
The garden is shared with us, but we're not out there much. There's parking right next to it.
You can walk to the village in a few minutes. There are a couple of pubs and tea rooms. Warkworth Castle is right there too, you see it from the road. The river walk is nice. You often see herons.
The coast is about a mile away. Druridge Bay is a good beach for a long walk, it's about ten minutes by car. Amble harbour is five minutes down the road. They have a fish quay where you can buy seafood. It's a working port.
Alnwick is fifteen minutes away. The castle is the big thing there. The Alnwick Garden is worth a visit too. Further afield, you've got the Northumberland National Park inland, and the coast goes north to places like Bamburgh. Hadrian's Wall is about an hour's drive.
Inside, there's a small kitchen with a washing machine. Shower room is downstairs. TV and WiFi are included. All bedding and towels are provided.
