Youngers Cottage is in Warkworth, right by the river. It's a stone cottage, set back from the road so it's quiet. You can hear the river from the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not flashy. The stairs are steep and a bit narrow, just so you know.
You can bring one dog. There's a wood burning stove for colder nights. It's open plan downstairs. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and all the bedding and towels are included.
You're about half a mile from the beach. It's a sandy one that goes on for miles towards Alnmouth. The village has shops and pubs a short walk away.
You can hire a rowing boat in summer to go on the river, which is a nice way to see it. There are good walks along the bank. From Amble, which is close by, you can get boat trips out to Coquet Island to see the puffins.
Warkworth Castle is right there in the village. For other days out, Alnwick Castle and its gardens are about a 20 minute drive. The whole Northumberland coast is good for walking, like at Howick or up to Bamburgh. It's about half an hour to Alnmouth or Seahouses.
