Seahunters is a first-floor flat in Alnmouth. You get to it via a steep shared driveway, it's up a flight of external stairs. The front looks right out over the estuary.
It sleeps six, has three double bedrooms, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating. The place is open plan, so the kitchen, dining and sitting area are all one room. Three big windows in there make it bright.
Alnmouth is a quiet village. There's a long sandy beach about a three minute walk away. The beach is dog-friendly all year. The village has a couple of pubs, a shop, and a few cafes. All within a few hundred yards.
The historic town of Alnwick is about four miles inland. That's where Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden are. The garden has the Grand Cascade water feature and the famous treehouse restaurant. Useful links for planning: Alnwick Castle and The Alnwick Garden.
For walking, you're on the Northumberland Coast Path. It's part of the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Craster, for the kippers, is about a 20 minute drive up the coast. Bamburgh Castle is about a 25 minute drive north.
Facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is on site. No pets.
