Seahunters is a first-floor apartment in Alnmouth. It's on a steep drive, so you need to be okay with that. The view from the front is straight out over the estuary, which is nice.
It sleeps six in three double bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own ensuite shower room, which is handy if you've got a few couples staying. The living area is open plan with big windows, so it's light. There's a gas fire that looks like coal, a TV, and a decent sized sofa. You can watch the boats from there.
You're about a two-minute walk from the village. There's a shop, a couple of pubs that do food, and some cafes. The beach is maybe a five-minute walk the other way. It's a long, sandy beach, good for a proper walk.
Alnmouth has a 9-hole golf course right by the beach. There's an 18-hole course at Foxton Hall too, about a ten-minute drive.
If you want to explore, Alnwick is ten minutes inland. The castle is there, and the gardens are worth a visit too. The Northumberland Coast is all protected as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so the walking is very good. National Trust Northumberland has information on some of the big sites nearby, like Dunstanburgh Castle.
For facilities, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
