Limpet Cottage is in Boulmer, on the Northumberland coast. It's part of a small terrace of cottages right on the sea front. You look straight out at the water from the living room and the patio.
It's a one bedroom place, so it sleeps two. It's all on one level. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The furniture is decent but it's not a luxury hotel.
Boulmer itself is very quiet. There's hardly any traffic. It's a proper fishing village, so you'll see the boats coming in. There's a pub about five minutes walk away. It's a local one.
The cottage is right on the beach. You can walk for miles along the sand. It's about a three mile walk south along the coast to Alnmouth, which has a few more shops and cafes.
Alnwick is ten minutes drive inland. There's a big supermarket there, and the castle is worth a visit. Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Garden are the main attractions. Barter Books, the secondhand bookshop, is good for a wet afternoon.
There are golf courses nearby. One is a 9-hole course right by the sea in Alnmouth.
For facilities: you've got a washing machine, TV, parking right outside, and bedding and towels are included. The patio gets the sun in the afternoon. No pets, I'm afraid.
