Littlecroft is in the middle of Alnmouth, on the main road through the village. It's a couple of minutes' walk from the beach and the estuary. You get a private terraced garden, which is quiet.
It's a big house, sleeps eight. Five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. We've tried to make it comfortable for a family or a group. The garden is on a bit of a slope, so it's terraced.
You're right in the village here. The nearest pub is about ten yards away, and there's a shop fifty yards down the road. They're both good. The village itself is very pretty with all the coloured houses.
The beach is sandy and long. For walks, the Northumberland Coast Path runs right through. You can walk south to Warkworth along the coast, or north. Warkworth Castle is about four miles away, maybe an hour and a half on foot.
By car, Alnwick with its castle and gardens is about ten minutes. Bamburgh Castle is about twenty-five minutes north. They're both worth a visit. The National Trust has several properties nearby, like Lindisfarne Castle which is about forty minutes away, but check the tide times for the causeway.
Facilities: it's got parking for two cars on the drive. There's a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
