Cobbler's Cottage is in Alnwick, just off the market square. It's a stone cottage, one of a pair. You go through an arch and up Correction House Lane to get to it, which only takes a minute. It's quiet back there.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It was all redone a few years ago, so it's in good order. The stairs are steep, as you'd expect.
You're right in the town. The market square, shops, and places to eat are a two-minute walk. There's a pub nearby. The coast is about a ten-minute drive. Alnmouth beach is good for a walk.
Alnwick Castle is a proper day out, it's very close. The Alnwick Garden is there too. For a bigger trip, Bamburgh Castle is about half an hour's drive up the coast. The Northumberland National Park is inland, also around half an hour.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, wifi, and a TV. There's a small enclosed patio out the back. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
