Up North
Up North is in Alnwick, just off the main high street. It’s a three-story townhouse, so there are a fair few stairs. It’s Grade II listed, which means the walls are thick and the windows are tall. It sleeps six.
There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom has a big spa bath with mood lighting. The bed in the largest bedroom is a zip-and-link, so it can be a super king or two singles if you let us know when you book.
It’s a 4 Star place. That means it’s well-equipped and comfortable. There’s a dishwasher, washing machine, and a Tassimo coffee machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You can walk everywhere from here. The shops, pubs, and restaurants are a minute away. Alnwick Castle and the Alnwick Gardens are a short walk. The Gardens have the Treehouse Restaurant. Barter Books is in the old railway station, it's a big second-hand bookshop.
The coast is about a twenty-minute drive. Places like Alnmouth, Craster, and Bamburgh are easy to get to. The bus station is a few minutes’ walk if you don’t want to drive.
