Chapel View is a cottage in Alnwick, in the middle of town. It's mid-terraced, so you've got neighbours. You get your own parking space right outside, which is useful.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, one king and one double. There's one bathroom with a bath and a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. The garden is enclosed, so that's fine for pets. There's a table and chairs out there, and a BBQ.
Inside, there's a sitting room with a TV. The kitchen has everything you'd need and a table for four. The stairs are standard for a cottage, so they're a bit steeper than in a modern house.
You're right in the centre, so the shops, pubs, and restaurants are about a minute's walk away. You don't need to drive for basics.
Alnwick Castle is the main thing here. It's a proper castle you can go round. The Alnwick Garden is next to it and is worth a visit. They've got the big treehouse restaurant and the poison garden.
If you want the coast, Alnmouth is about ten minutes' drive east. It's a nice village with a good beach. Further up the coast, you've got Bamburgh Castle and Seahouses, where you can get boat trips to the Farne Islands. Holy Island is about a 40-minute drive, but you have to check the tide times for the crossing.
